Fujairah overview

Fujairah Travel Guide
The town of Fujairah is rather unremarkable when compared to others in the UAE. Its port is best avoided by all have not come with the intention of breathing in a bit of pollution. There are still some pleasant beaches enjoyed by the locals, but as with elsewhere rapid development is resulting in a loss of charm. The few remaining traditional houses and ruins are not remarkable enough to tempt visitors to stay for any length of time. The main attractions are outside the town and the mountainous scenery lapped at by the Arabian Sea is truly stunning. About 30kms out of town is the Friday Market which is a bustle of traders, trinkets and carpets. Visitors need not worry if it is not actually a Friday as this nick-knack paradise is open every day.
